MS AND Fibromyalgia?

Has anyone here been diagnosed with MS and Fibro? My doctor is really leaning toward me having both. We know I for sure have MS, but I also suffer chronic pain all over my body. Which I thought was MS but Its moreso than that.

Yes

I have been dx'd with both, fibromyalgia back in 1998, MS in 2012. However, my neurologist told me to watch, that soon I should read in journals that fibro is "pre-ms".

Pretty much the same symptoms, and all my docs agree, it was MS all along.

I'll be interested to read how, if fibromyalgia is "pre-MS," why it's only pre-MS for a small minority, while millions of people with fibromyalgia never develop MS. It doesn't follow that it can be pre-MS when it never turns into MS.

Even CIS is only pre-MS for people who go on to develop MS but not for those who don't.
