Should I discontinue Copaxone after 10 years with no relapses?

I have two neurologists and they disagree. I have been taking Copaxone 20ML for 10 years with no relapses. One neuro says "take a break" from the daily injections and see how I react/feel. The other neuro says stay on Copaxone forever. "It's working." Now I don't know what to do. Maybe cut down on the 20ML to every/other day????

Confusing, when doctors are giving conflicting advice. I guess that I would consider staying on Copaxone if I were you, since you have been flare-free for so long. That might be the reason you have not been having flares.

On the other hand, though, my MS Specialist says that, sometimes, after you reach age 50 or 60, it is possible, for some people, that your MS tends to sort of "burn out". She explains that as no longer progressing and no longer having MS flares. Your current residual symptoms would not go away.
