Starting Tomorrow ~ Aubagio 14 MG.

    Hi!

I have fully recovered from the stomach-flu bug I had, all clear and good to go now ... confirmed (starting the Aubagio had to be postponed); I take my first dose of 14 MG. Aubagio tomorrow morning. So ... the prayers begin.

It looks like a hospital in here; I'm getting some lovely cabinets to close the doors on all this!! My home is my Sanctuary & Castle and it shall be reflected as such ... I don't need or desire this hospital-like environment, it's bad for my Spirit and it's bad for me; time to brighten this place up!! Time to re-organize, enclose and re-decorate!! Calling in the troops! All these prescription pills, all these supplements, all this medical equipment, these lotions and drops ... I have alarms set around the clock. Just added another. *sigh*

Almost all buckled in, here we go ... tomorrow, IT'S ON!!

    Good Luck!

I hope that Aubagio works as well for you as it has for me. I have taken it for 2 years now and have no new lesions or flares. I had the added benefit (for me, at least) of an unintentional weight loss of 35 pounds. My doctor says it is a side effect of the Aubagio.

      Best wishes!
I'm in my third month with Aubagio, had a wee bit of unhappy tummy for a very short time.
Brighten up & redecorate sounds like an amazing thing to do.

        Loopy & Tina,

Thank you!! Today is day three on the Aubagio. So far, so good ... no side effects.

On another note, I can't stay awake ... the chronic fatigue has been going on for years but has been "almost constant" for nearly a month now. I sleep around the clock and feel like I could just sleep forever. My average "awake time" is 4-7 hours within the 24-hours of each day, this is insane. The pain and discomfort are requiring a lot of pain management and I stay still and sleep through it. My MS is persistently telling me to "be still" ... when I finally wake up and start moving around, even just a little, it all comes back.

I have Nuvigil to take for the chronic fatigue and it works very well for that, but it makes me feel stressed, nervous and my tremors get a lot worse. Worst of all, I struggle with high blood pressure and the Nuvigil makes it soar ... so I stopped taking it last December (even after cutting it in half). I have already tried Ritalin, Adderall, Provigil ... they all do the same thing; Nuvigil works the best for the nervousness, but still. Everything I try is like a "catch 22" ... it comes with a price.

It stinks that you're having fatigue that bad.

              Started Aubagio

              Hi Cindy

I just started the pills yesterday with no problems. I've been taking Ty for a few years, but they wanted me off Ty because I am a high JC Virus Titer number(3.5).

I also have taken Nuvigil every day for a long time, and it really helps with the exhaustion. I can feel the difference if I forget to take it. I have no problems taking it, but I don't have any pain issues. I sleep longer also.
