Anyone know of an update on how people in Alabama are doing? I think it was around 6 people getting it. Male and Female.

Alabama Lemtrada patients
I am a patient of the neuro in Alabama but I live in Nashville - I had the infusions the last week of January - see my comments under the Lemtrada and Secondary Progressive -
Denied by BCBS ALABAMA
I have BCBS of Alabama and they have denied me for Lemtrada. At first they have denied everyone but Dr. LaGanke had a three hour meeting with them explaining Tysabri and the risk some of us have for developing PML. They were had much more info and more educated. Dr. LaGanke's office caLLed me and said that the good news was 2 people were approved by BCBS but since mine is on appeal I am going to have to go through the appeals prossess, whatever that will entail.
It's been very discouraging, had to get another Ty infusion and I will now have to go back through the 60 day wash out and hope that BCBS will approve me by then.Comment
