For people switched from Betaseron to Extavia by Insurance...

My understanding is that there is a Beta Bridge Program for anyone on commercial insurance. Free Betaseron for 12 months. See the following link:
    http://www.mshopefoundation.com/msho...-Program-1.pdf

    BETA Bridge Hotline:
    1-800-284-0288.

Hope this helps anyone who was switched, has commercial insurance, and wants to stay with Betaseron.

Some people on Betaseron don't want to lose their Beta Nurse and prefer the 30 gauge needle provided with Betaseron.

    Please feel free to comment!

For those who were switched and stayed on the Extavia, was there a substantial reduction in co-pay? I am concerned because we lost out "full government help" this year and are actually doing without some meds because of the costs. With so many generics not offering Patient Assistance Programs this really puts the squeeze on us.
