Thought I'd share a story that only MSers could love.
I was running late to a concert where I was supposed to help with the sound board. I'd dressed up just a little, in case I wasn't hidden from view - but I was wearing black loafers.
As I walked down the carpeted hall in my building, my right heel dragged a little. Terrifying, because it's my LEFT side that's affected by MS! Oh, no! Not progression!
When I was transferring trains, too far from my house to turn back, I looked down and realized....
MY SHOES DIDN'T MATCH!
It wasn't MS. It was the 1/2-inch difference in heel height.
Turns out I mismatched the pairs when I unpacked after a recent move. Oops.
Embarrassing ... but at least it wasn't MS!
