    Zoloft versus St. John's wort

    Anyone taking St. John's wort?

After 3 low doses of Zoloft (25mg for 3 days), I'm afraid to do the increase to 50mg for 3 days (and then to 100mg). I've already felt a huge drain on my energy. I cannot afford this drain!

But I worry St. John's wort can't help enough. Was taking 900mg day in 3 doses but it started working right away. No side effects.

I haven't tried St John's Wort. Has the 25mg been ineffective? Is that the reason for considering an increase in dosage?

Mamabug those were only the first three doses I've taken so no way can it have been effective yet, dr wanted me to amp up over time to higher dose. But I'm worried I was already having side effects I can't afford to deal with.
