    Floaters as a symptom?

Are floaters a sign of MS?

    #2
    No.

Eye floaters are not a sign of or caused by MS.

Thanks Snoopy. I thought the same thing, but I saw a few people say ON could cause them, and also Uveitis could cause them, which is caused by MS. I am/was confused. Thanks.

        Hi J-er,

Re Uveitis, check out the information here. http://www.nei.nih.gov/health/uveitis/uveitis.asp

The short version is that there are lots of things that cause uveitis that are not ms. I would see an opthalmologist.

          Floaters of Uveitis

Hi guys, just a quick update. I got a pretty good answer in relation to floaters and MS. Basically, if you have Uveitis, the floaters are a little bit different than normal floaters. Basically they are white blood cells that collect inside your eyes. Your eye doctor would see them when they dilate your eyes. They would appear as clouds or snowbanks inside the eye. I found this out today as I went to the eye doctor and he explained it to me. By the way, my eyes were fine, as I went for some floaters I have been seeing.
