    probiotics

Yesterday I read on medical news today that when mice were given lactobacillus strains (emphasis on plural strains), it helped prevent the mouse form of induced MS and if they already had it, the lactobacillus acted in a therapeutic manner.
So, go ahead, try a daily probiotic- the more strains the better, look for ones that are in some fashion encapsulated so that your stomach acids donīt kill them before reaching your small intestine. More and more research is finding a gut-brain connection that is esp. important in MS.

And probiotics are especially important because of GMO foods.
Of which are impossible to avoid.

Good reminder. I have some, but rarely take them.
