    Question New Needles?

Are there new needles coming with the Avonex pre-filled syringes? I've been self-injecting Avonex since September 1997. I've been self-injecting with the pre-filled syringes since Biogen made the switch from the powdered form in 2003.

Lately, I've noticed that it's become a bit more awkward self-injecting (heck I've almost become a pro at it!). I suspect a change in the needle.

Has anyone else noticed a difference?

No, not to me its not. Currently on the powder form and been on Avonex (powder or briefly pre-filled) since June 1996. To me its the same old big needle, and I am a pro at it!
Been taking Avonex since June 96
For me Interferon therapy is essential in slowing MS down.
Will continue with the weekly injections and take my disease one day at a time...

On prefilled but I use 25 gauge 1" needles which are infinitely more comfortable than the ones that come in the prefilled package. Both are wrapped the same. What are you thinking is different?
