    Aubagio or Tecifedra

Has anyone taken Aubagio? Thinking it's a fairly new oral med. I just had an MRI on the 11th but don't have results yet. Trying to decide which oral med I should switch too. Haven't seen any posts about Aubagio. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

There is some info about aubagio under the med category. So I would check there.

    Good luck

Sorry, if you go to message boards you will see a category for medications and treatments and the meds are there with some info from others.

Aubagio is very similar to a rheumatoid arthritis med called Arava; they expect it to have a similar side effect profile.

Tecfidera is very similar (same active ingredient?) to a psoriasis med used in Germany for years. Again, they expect it to have a similar side effect profile.

That being said, only time will tell, and expectations don't always meet reality. I've taken both; I prefer Tecfidera for the side effects/how quickly it leaves the system, but it's really personal preference.
