    Hi salo558,

Sorry to hear you've been experiencing this. This is a quote from the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation:

"Emotional liability appears to be more common, and possibly more severe,in people with MS and includes frequent changes in mood from happy to sad to angry, for example. It is believed that the causes are both the extra stress brought on by MS as well as neurological changes at work.Uncontrollable laughing and crying is a disorder affecting a small proportion of people with MS, and is thought to be caused by MS-related changes in the brain."

There are several mood stabilizing drugs available that may help you, so I suggest talking to your doctor.

      Hi salo~

I am also sorry you are having problems with this. Here is a thread I started about mood swings with a link to Momentum Magazine, a publication for those of us living with MS. http://www.msworld.org/forum/showthread.php?t=131221

It's an interesting article about the shifting tides of moods with MS.

I agree with Kimba that you should make an appt with your doctor to discuss this.

      Hang in there!
