    frontal lesions

MSW I did not have DX of ADHD before either although looking back, the symptoms were there since childhood.

When I went to the psych appointment I honestly worried I was going to be "locked up" , lol.

Imagine my surprise being told ADHD at 60 yo.

3 small lesions that don't meet the McDonald Criteria

      Hi there.

I was wondering, can 3 small lesions in the frontal lobe area cause cognitive difficulties? I have problems with balance/coordination, short-term memory, concentration and communication difficulties (and so much more). Yet, they don't meet the McDonald criteria and the radiologist has reported them as "insignificant" so have no MS dx.

However, after speaking (via e-mail) with an MS specialist, she recommended I get "neuropsychological testing with a psychologist which is much more in depth testing that can distinguish MS-related cognitive issues from non-MS cognitive issues".

Also, is it still possible to be clinically diagnosed with negative MRIs and LPs or do you have to wait until it shows its face in these tests? I take it this can years to show up...if ever?

BTW, does anyone else have problems with depth of field matters? What I mean is, when I want to sip from a glass I seam to miss my mouth (didn't get close enough) and spill my drink on me! This happens every once in a while.

Sometimes it's not my mouth but rather my foot on a step...I think the step is just below my foot when it's actually a lot lower and nearly break my neck when I realize I missed a step and nearly fell down the stairs! It's also very hard on the back.

      Waiting to hear from you...

        Frontal lobe lesion

I have a frontal lobe lesion, I sometimes have mood swings but not often. Part of how I was diagnosed is that I started having language problems, not being able to express myself using wrong words, not being able to find words, forgetting things, poor problem solving and planning issues. I have problems with concentration, multitasking and if there is a lot going on around me I tend to get agitated and cranky. I also have some physical symptoms but the thing that caused me to have to stop working (I am an RN) is that I can't "think" anymore. I have had the shuffling gait, etc but I thought that maybe came from lesions in other areas.
