    0.12 JVC index value... is this low?

    The test says negative but I'm curious HOW negative this is, and what it means. I had the ELISA JCV antibody test, and the results say my index value is 0.12. Sounds good to me but then I dunno... this is all new to me!

    Hi JBWinColorado,

    Yes, .12 would be considered low, with the chance of developing PML while on Tysabri the first two years at 1 in 10,000 (which is the same for someone JCV-). Here is a risk profile chart for you http://www.slideshare.net/gavingiova...hare_slideshow
