Heat and horrible fatigue

So I feel like horrible mom. My 8 year old daughter has strep throat, we went to the doc this morning, got her medicine, and I slept ALL day. Literally all day long. It has been very hot here and I did feel overheated from the time I woke up.

Last week there was another hot day when I felt overheated and I slept all day too. Also the past two weeks my right leg has been so numb to the point if I try to support my weight on that leg I fall.

Does anyone else sleep like this when it's hot?

I am so sorry for you. There is nothing worse than feeling we are letting people "down." I get like that in the heat and often my symptoms get worse from it. If I push myself to far, I ended up having a totally melt down and then am useless for several days. Pace yourself and try to keep cool so you can be there for your daughter. ((Hugs))
