Saw my neuro today and he finally agreed to put me on one of the oral meds. I chose Aubagio. Now waiting for approval from insurance. Doc said some are approved and some not. I was diagnosed in 1999 and have used Avonex and Betaseron during that time. I want to be done with the shots and all the effects that come along with them. Fingers crossed.

Aubagio has a really good copay assistance program - $10 a month if you have commercial insurance. Check out their website for details and complete eligibility. -

Have a lot of people out there struggled with getting their oral meds approved through their insurance companies? My doctor did not seem optimistic. If you did get approved - about how long did the process take?Comment
