So I'm taking the avonex pen while I wait for tec prescription after trying copaxone. I was in avonex for about two years and ajways got flu symptoms. Stopped to have a baby and tried copaxone had terrible site reactions so dr put me in avonex pen until the tec prescription gets approved. I took two alieve and hydrated and was ok. I'm wondering if my body is handling the avonex pen better than the old injection and if it might make sense to stay on it and not switch to tecfidera. Anyone have the same issue?

I see no one replied. Are you having second thoughts? It sounds like you're not sure what to do.
So did you have site reactions with Avonex? It's very rare.
I would suggest this. Try the avonex and if you can tolerate it, just ask your doc what he/she recommends. But if you're just nervous about your choice, consider it's nervousness.
