Finally going back to the doctor

I've moved around a lot since I was diagnosed with MS at age 20. I just turned 28 a couple days ago and have an appointment with an MS Specialist in my area (Round Rock, TX) on October 21st. I was on Avonex for about a year, but I was getting such bad anxiety from the shots that I stopped taking them completely.

I've been doing research and have noticed there are 2-3 different oral therapies that have been approved by the FDA. What are the chances my doctor will prescribe me an oral medication.

I have been off medication for more than two years now and am feeling extremely tired all the time. I hope my appointment goes well.
    The Lord gave us mountains,
So we could learn how to climb...

I live in Round Rock. My MS doc did offer an oral med but I declined because it has only been out for a year as I sit with injection pain in my butt right now. I'm doing fine on copaxone, I was diagnosed last month. Good luck and if you ever want to meet, seeing as the only person I have met with MS was physical therapist that I saw while hospitalized. Good luck, this Round Rock MS doc came highly recommended but not crazy about his views so I did have to just trust him as a good doctor and deal with my family doctor more.
