MS & Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Hello out there! Anyone else been diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica while taking Gilenya? I've been on Gilenya for a year and a half and was diagnosed with P.Rheumatica 4 months ago; now have to take low dose prednisone for possibly up t 5 years. I am wondering if it is a side effect of the Gilenya but can't find anything out there supporting this and my Neuro disagrees also. Am considering discontinuing the Gilenya to see if the PMR goes away. The daily steroid side effects are miserable..

PMR....hhhmmm?

I have been taking Gilenya since Dec '12. I have recently, within the past 2 weeks developed what I can only describe as what feels like a stiff hip. As if it needs to be popped. From this area, The pain moves down my thigh to my knee which is also stiff and causes me to have to limp. The pain comes and goes. It is quite bothersome when sitting.or attempting to get into a car or stand. Does this sound like what you have been experiencing?
