Ok I am new to this part of the forums. I had optic neuritis almost 6 months ago and my vision has not returned back to normal. I am wondering a couple of questions 1) will stem cell treatment possibly correct the optic nerve damage? 2) Where can you go here in the US for stem cell treatment (even if you have to pay for it).

On the topic of optic neuritis, I don't know what effect stem cell replacement has had on it. With regards to hospitals that do stem cell replacement, there are many in the US that have been conducting studies, but I don't think it can be obtained with out of pocket cash.
I know that the Cleveland Clinic and Northwestern University have been doing clinical trials. I think there a few other university settings that are doing clinical trials. There are several hospitals abroad that perform the stem cell therapy for cash.
