I have been tested for this now a couple years. I do have MS. Thinning has been minimal. Last OCT exam should a little more thinning in one eye. My pressures are normal and no change. So I've looked up some information about this online, and I don't understand the reason for continuing these tests if there is no obvious changes and if the underlying cause is basically untreatable. I come in maybe every 6 - 9 months. an extra appointment except for my usual yearly exam. I do have an excellent opthamologist, but these visits and extra exams are of course costing money which I assume the insurance company is basically paying for. So why do them? I don't expect my MS is suddenly going to be cured, nice as it would be. Seems to me the state of medicine causes a lot of extra money to be paid for tests that have no treatment. So I know I have some thinning. So what?
