IT's important to know why you're asking. Are you losing/changing your insurance? Do you not have any?
There is no reason to go without meds - there are ways of getting them, usually from the company that makes them. Biogen sent me Avonex free for a year while I had no coverage. There are also programs that pay for meds.
So don't trouble yourself with the cost of the meds if you don't need to. Consider it costs very little to produce the meds now (the big money was spent on research). If they have you as a customer, there's a good chance you'll have insurance of some sort, even government insurance in the future, so you're a good investment they will make back in the very first month you have insurance.

I'm sorry to hear that! What country are you in?
I thought mine was $3600/mo but I could be wrong.2001: 1st 2 relapses, "probable MS." 2007: 3rd relapse. Dx of RRMS confirmed by MS specialist. Started Cpx. (Off Cpx Feb 08-Mar 09 to start a family; twins!) Dec '09: Started Beta. Oct '13: Started Tecfidera. May '15: Considering Gilenya.
