This is my first time doing this but I get lots of pain in my feet and the only time it feels better is if I soak them in water. Anyone have any other suggestions?

This may sound silly but make sure your socks and shoes are well-fitting, in good quality, and comfortable. My feet grew recently (I'm 30!) and I didn't realize it. I spent a year with horrible pain in my feet, legs, back, etc. I finally figured it out and bought all new shoes that were all super comfy. MY pain is greatly decreased.Newbie

Hi kaplan, yes, I have neuropathy in my feet occasionally. The last few days were an exception tho- really bad. Using my foot spa does help. Also I have some booty like socks that you can put in lthe microwave or freezer depending on what you need at the time. I keep them in the freezer (they stay really cold- don't freeze) and I sit in my lift chair and they feel like so so good!! Hubby also rubs the bottoms of my feet, with regular socks on and this seems to make them feel better for a while. Hurts like heck, but feels so good at the same time!

My hands, feet and sometimes up into my ankles often 'ache' like they are really swollen but then are not swollen at all. I am not sure if this is what you mean by 'pain'? Or maybe you are having a more stabbing kind of pain?
Not officially diagnosed due to non-MS-specific spots on MRIs, but the neurologists all agree it's MS.
Frustrated. January 2019: finally saw an MS specialist worth seeing. Maybe we'll get to the bottom of this.
EDSS of 5.5, sometimes 6.0
