    on rebif but possibly no ms

    What would be the reaction to your body if you take rebif for a year then you are told you may not have ms?
    DIAGNOSED=2012
    ISSUES LONG BEFORE
    REBIF 1 YEAR

    Many questions to ask.

    1.Who is telling you this?
    2. Are you going to a Neurologist who specializes in MS?
    3. Have you had an MRi?
    4. If you have had an MRI, did your doctor go over it with you and explain the diagnosis.
    5. Have you consulted with your family/general practioner?
    6. Make a list of questions to ask.

      I always do.
      I just don't want to take this med. if no ms. my neuro says probable but wants to wait a year on rebif for definate. everything about this is confusing.

        Rebif needed..I have 2 boxes

        I was on Rebif and now I am on gylenia. I have 2 boxes of Rebif 22mcg, case 2 injection dispensors, 1 box of alcohol pads.

          I assume your neuro thinks you have MS but is unsure.
          It means he/she also thinks that rebif works

          I don't think there is any long-term effects, but it is nasty. Another poster, Redwings had medical training and felt pretty strongly that it was inappropriate to treat without a diagnosis, since MS meds were contra-indicated in the case of some diseases. You might ask your neuro about that.
