    Medical breakthrough discovered at OHSU

    My son just sent me this article (dated Nov 2, 2012) about a particular enzyme not usually found in the brain, but only in those with brain damage due to MS and stroke conditions. If they can find a way to block this enzyme, in doing so the brain can repair itself.

    It's so good to hear about all of the breaking news concerning MS. Very interesting article!

    I do know that when I went to a MS Q&A recently, they had said that the research is going to turn and focus on genes and MS when it comes to DMD's.

    Like which specific genes do best with which certain medication.

    Also, I did hear about a medication on trial, while at a Press Conference at ECTRIMS... it's called anti-lingo.
    This is a medication on trial to repair the damage done to the nerves.

      OHSU is one of the leading research facilities. I personally hold them in very high regards.
