Gowiththeflow, thank you for the warm hug. Your post brought tears to my eyes.

I've been referred out to a "blood specialist." They answered the phone, "Oncology."

I'm so not prepared for this as a possibility.
    It's not fatigue. It's a Superwoman hangover.

LusciousLeaves, before you panic about the oncology office being where your blood doctor is, please know many hematologists work in oncology practices, but do far more than things like leukemia. Mine handled my anemia. after extensive genetic and other testing to rule out what else could have my hemoglobin at 7.3 even after a transfusion, I spent 2 days getting special iron by i.v. that went into my bones, confortable in a recliner with tv, books, a soft blanket and snacks, beside about 30 chemo patients.

Sad to have made you cry, unless tears of joy? I know you are going through alot, and can relate. be well my new friend!

Besides, chasing you down isn't an option, my bubble wrap suit isn't built for speed.

They were tears of relief. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm much better after the shock wore off. There are dozens of other possibilities still. I've met some others that have had this same thing happen, and hearing their experiences have helped too.

MVM, prednisone helped me feel a lot better, too. Be very careful with that stuff! It was surprising how many of my issues responded to it, from the irregular heartbeat to the painful thigh spasms. So glad to hear you're improving and feeling well. Thank you for the hugs and prayers. I'll watch for your email and am done panicking. It was only a couple of days, and compounded by some heavy school stress our son was experiencing. All better now and ready for the next step.

Tomorrow is the day I meet the new doc. It's better to find out sooner rather than later what this is. The sooner we find it and can start treating it, the less damage that occurs. The only thing is, having found something yanked me right out of denial. It wasn't a nice experience. lol Denial can be, well, bliss!

Thank you for words of encouragement. You are a great source of support to everyone.

So happy you are feeling better. So many ups and downs.

I am going back to UofM for EMG test. They want their own. Really liked the Neuro, he seemed genuinely interested.

Will post again when get diagnosis. Actually having a hard time wrapping my brain around this.
