Susan what should i look for in buying a home?

    hi,

i know that this is very premature and that at this point i am not even looking, but its something that i come back to in my mind a lot. i am finishing up the OT program now (ya!), so maybe that's why. i am hoping to be in a position to purchase a home within a few years, and aside from knowing the basic home modification rules that i would be keeping in mind when looking at the home (no stairs to enter, living areas/bedroom on first floor if multi-level home, area in bathroom 5x5, doorway width, low-pile/no carpet etc.), as a person who has MS and is also an OT, do you have any additional things that you think would be beneficial for me to consider?

Congratulations completing the program, you are going to love the profession.
You sound very well prepared already

The one recommendation I would suggest is to find a bathroom that has separate shower stall from tub and if you have the option for built in seat, do/get it.

    Good luck with everything.
    Be Well,
    Susan
