A sure sign winter is coming.

Sad, but true- Wisconsins winter is on it's way! We already had a couple inches of the white stuff last week.

But the sure sign that winter is knocking on our back door- is having to put away the patio table, umbrella and chairs. Hubby did this just this past Tuesday afternoon. I had been sitting outside for about an hour and a half, when he said he was going to get the snowblower out of the shed and into the garage and put the patio furniture in the shed, I said "well, I'm gonna sit out here till you come pull the chair out from under me!" And he did. Boy, it sure looks empty out there now!!

    HI Kathy -
Ack! a snowblower already - it's not even Thanksgiving! But, yes, a true sign! I remember those days from when I lived in Chicago!!! Although, my dad never stopped grilling even when it was snowing! ha! I love Wisconsin, used to go to Minnaqua (sp?) during the summer to Trout Lake.

I'm back in the 'north'-north carolina- and it's 39 degrees here and I'm loving it! it's been about 11 years since I lived where it got cold!
This music is the glue of the world Mark. It's what holds it all together. Without this, life would be meaningless

If you're in Wisconsin, I think winter is roaring its way to you! I live in Montana, and we just got at least six inches of snow yesterday afternoon and evening. Time to break out the snow boots and give myself extra extra time for the walk to work!

      It is beautiful, though!

I absolutely DESPISE snow, but living here in S.E. PA makes it inevitable.

I'm hoping against hope that this year is not a "three-peat" of the last two. Too much effing snow makes winter seem unending.

                Lovely snow...

Awww come on you snow-haters! I love snow and I know it can be a pain, but it's so pretty. It covers all the brown and dead things up. Being from the south I sure wish we had more of it here. It was like 65-70 a couple of days ago.
When it snows here the grocery stores get emptied out of milk and bread and NO ONE drives, they cancel school and call it a snow day. Moms make hot chocolate and kids march around in their barely used snow boots trying to enjoy the crunchy, cold stuff. What's not to love!

                  Answer to Wiborn

I live in central Wi. 30 miles west of Green Bay-GO PACK GO!!!, and about 100 miles north of Milwaukee. I can't remember where Sparta is, have heard of it, forgot to ask my hubby, I'm sure he will know.
