I have owned bulldogs for the last 25 years. In the small town I live in I am known by many as the bulldogman because I always have at least one with me.

Mine came about after a college road trip. I had traveled some but all in one time zone, so when we crossed into the next time zone, I shouted out "WOOOHOOO!!!" Did it on the way back as well!! And just in case anybody was wondering, yes it was with college friends however no alcohol was involved (or hurt in the making of that road trip!! ). I was just being my usual silly self.

698 is (was?) the hull number of my last sub, the USS Bremerton.
Bob is short for Robert although I tried to make my offical title in the Navy "Petty Officer Bob". It didn't work.

I used several names when I first started in Prodigy back in '93-Then I began having memory problems. My initials are JGD, so I just switched to jayjee; which I easily remember.

I love getting to see another side to people. I know personally botching and moaning, and that is not what I am all about!

I used to have a what was considered a high profile job in my community. I quit. People were shocked and disappointed. Now I am just a woman who rides horses and tends cows and dogs.

When I received my MS dx I was living in Iowa. Waiting for the day I could move back to my home state of Nebraska, I went with NEgirl. I think it's also kind of cool that you could read it "any" girl.....cuz you sure can't tell that I have MS, so I'm just "any" other girl

These stories are so cool and original, I wish I'd put more thought into mine... Cat Mom doesn't need an explanation but I'm also a Dog Mom, a Mom of 3 and a Step-Mom of 3. When I picked the user name my 22 pound cat was meowing at me in annoyance to let him out so I guess I felt like a Cat Mom at the time.

My husband has gone by the handle "Cap'n Darwin" for ages. The name actually comes from a comic series he and his friends joked about starting a long time ago, "Captain Darwin and the Genetic Defenders." The gist is that they would work to rid the people of people too stupid/mean to breed. (Yes, it's dark humor. And for the record, it's my HUSBAND and his FRIENDS who came up with the concept, not me) My husband's day job is as an aerospace engineer, but at night and on weekends, he works as a game developer (both computer and board games). On message boards and even on some mods, he goes by the name "Cap'n Darwin."

When we have attended conventions together, he has often identified himself to people by that name, although now that he is credited by his REAL name in a growing number of titles (i have cred on a couple games now too), he is going more and more by his actual name. Anyhow, i love it when our daughters call me "Mama," so, to keep myself identifiable as "Cap'n Darwin"'s wife, i chose "Mama_Darwin".
