    Relapsing-remitting-impatient

Patience is not a virtue I possess. I'm freaking tired of this numbness in my feet. Ready for the remitting part of this dumb disease and to get back to normal boring everyday life.

    Feeling your pain

    Hello

I feel what your going through because I too was/am impatient to get better. My humble suggestion is to drink a lot of water (alakaline water); examine your diet, and do exercises for your feet and ankles (I like simple yoga)...This is the hard part of the disease...wishing you the best

I have it constantly in my right leg...and it drives me crazy, especially when I'm sitting down. So, you live in Sherwood??? I live near Salem, who is your neurologist? I am in the early stages of getting diagnosed or ruling out. So far, I've had an abnormal MRI, and the new blood test for MS came out positive. Tomorrow I have my lumbar puncture for the next step in testing, and freaking out a bit.....I am a bit impatient to learn if I have it or not. Good luck finding remission.

I see Dr. Cohan at the Providence MS Center. It's a wonderful place and he is a fantastic doctor. I would highly recommend him. My diagnosis was quick once I started seeing a specialist.

            joyful,

            I completely understand!

I am a mother of 2 active teens, a preteen and work full time.
I am in the middle of a horrible relapse-including a 5 day hospital stay for IV (solu medrol). My legs and hands are painfully numb with ON in my left eye.

I am such an independent person. I've been known to cry more than once this past month "I just want to feel 'normal' again!" I would be happy with even sub-normal.

Hang in there. We're right there with you.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Starting 3 days IVSM to treat an earlier summer relapse that is "unresolved". Crap.

I'm here to learn more about MS because my Uncle has it. By the way, he is like a dad to me. He also struggles with the patience issues. I think it's just something you have to try to push through that will eventually get better.

I think we have some similar symptoms & I'm have the same feeling right now. Only for me, it's lingering in my hands.

I'm just soooooo tired of it. No real words of wisdom, just letting you know you're not alone.
