    pregnancy

I am one month pregnant with my first baby. Is there anything I should look out for when I am giving birth?

I had my kids way before my MS, so I couldn't tell you about that. I've heard stories that the MS gets worse and better with pregnancy. The one person that I've ever known personally with MS (I used to work with her years back, now I don't have her number) told me back in 1998 that when she got pregnant, her MS went into remission, and in the couple years since then she hadn't had a single symptom.

It is possible to have a relapse either during the pregnancy or post-partum --- some do and some don't.

I had two children after my diagnosis, my pregnancies as well as post-partum were uneventful...MS wise.
