    Did you know...

Besides the DAV.. MS patients can also get help from the PVA? Whether you are in a wheelchair or not.. MS is considered a PVA priority. Good to know..

    Good info.
Like a lot of things, it also seems to depend on which state you live in and who your point of contact would be.

      BIG Thanks CJake ..........

That might be of help for me. The local visiting MOPH VSO made fun of my using a scooter when I saw him last week. To him MS was a JOKE! No kidding the guy literally laughed out loud at me. The whole apt he added insult to injury.

My local FamDoc Rx'd me a powerchair (part-time use) last spring. It's been a BIG help for me. A P/T came out and did an evaluation and the sales rep (??) came out to check my house for suitabilty, etc as part of the process.

I am finding my own balance of limited walking and chair/scooter use.
