    GNC only has TURMERIC and under that it says CURCUMIN..

    Is that the same stuff??

    Yep.

    Turmeric is made up of several factors called curcuminoids, the principal one being curcumin. So if you buy turmeric, you're getting mostly curcumin.

      You need to find a Curcumin suppliment which includes Bioperine, which greatly increases the absorbtion of Curcumin.

        That's true as far as it goes, and I do use a brand of Curcumin which includes Bioperine myself.

        However, many brands of Turmeric/Curcumin do not include Bioperine, and while not optimally effective, they're still quite beneficial. If a brand containing Bioperine isn't available where the OP shops, or is too expensive, plain Turmeric/Curcumin is an okay choice IMHO.
