Ingredients
6 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 16-ounce cans baked beans
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Hot sauce to taste
Directions
1 Brown diced bacon in large skillet.
2 Remove bits from drippings and reserve for garnish.
3 Saute' onions in bacon drippings until tender.
4 Add remaining ingredients and stir until mixture begins to bubble.
5 Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.
6 Garnish with bacon bits before serving.
