Ingredients
1/2 cup butter OR margarine
1 cup peanut butter chips
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
9 ounces chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Directions
1 Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2 In saucepan over low heat, place butter and peanut butter chips; heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
3 Pour mixture into large mixer bowl; add brown sugar, egg, and vanilla, beating until well blended.
4 Stir in flour, baking soda and nuts, blending well.
5 Shape dough into 1-inch ball.
6 Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
7 Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
8 Remove from oven; immediately place kiss on topp of each cookie, pressing down so cookie cracks around edges.
