    Double Chocolate Pound Cake

    Ingredients
    12-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    16-ounce package pound cake mix
    3 eggs
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1 cup chopped walnuts

    Directions
    1 In small saucepan over simmering water OR in 1-cup measuring cup in microwave oven, melt 1/2 cup chocolate pieces.
    2 Set aside to cool.
    3 Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using 3 eggs and substituting sour cream for milk.
    4 Mix in melted chocolate, remaining chocolate pieces and walnuts.
    5 Pour into greased 9-cup tube pan.
    6 Bake at 325 degrees 50 to 60 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    7 Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    8 Remove from pan to rack to cool completely before slicing.

    MAKES one 9-inch cake.
