Ingredients
2 eggs, separated
1/3 cup instant coffee
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
dash salt
2 cups milk, chilled
shaved unsweetened chocolate
Directions
1 In small bowl of electric mixer, at high speed, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
2 Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form.
3 In large bowl, beat egg yolks until lemon-colored.
4 Gradually beat in coffee, salt, vanilla, milk, and water.
5 Stir in egg white mixture and whipped cream; mix well.
6 Serve well chilled, with chocolate sprinkled over each serving.
