Ingredients
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup cooking oil
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 jar plum baby food {4-3/4 oz}
reserve 1 Tbsp for icing
Directions
1-In bowel, combine flour, sugar, soda, baking powder, and salt.
2-Add remaining ingredients (except 1 Tbsp plum baby food for icing)
3-Stir vigorously for 1 minute.
4-Pour into ungreased 9-inch square cake pan
5-Bake in 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes or until cake is done in center.
6-Cool and frost with:
Icing for Plum Cake

1 Tbsp plum baby food
1/4 cup soft butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
Directions
1-Combine all ingredients.
2-Beat until of spreading consistency.
3-Thin with a few drops of water
**Margarine can be used instead of butter.
