    Plum-Peach Jam

    Ingredients
    5 cups red plums
    4 cups peaches
    8 cups sugar
    1 lemon, sliced very thin

    Directions
    1-Sort and wash fruit.
    2-Peel and pit peaches.
    3-Pit plums.
    4-Cut fruit into small pieces.
    5-Measure the prepared fruit into a kettle.
    6-Add sugar and sliced lemon and stir well.
    7-Boil rapidly, stir constantly to 220 degrees F or until mixture thickens.
    8-Remove from heat; skim.
    9-Fill and seal containers.
    10-Process 15 minutes in hot water bath at simmering temperature.
