    Muesli (Muse-ly)

Awesome easy breakfast made the night before. What makes this great is you can change up the flavours every time you make it and its always going to be tasty!

1 - 500 ml (2 cup) container of your favorite yogurt plain or flavoured
**do not use Greek yogurt, you’ll see why later
(I use at least 2% milk fat and usually pick Peach or Cherry flavour although Mocha is awesome too!)

1 cup uncooked large flake rolled oats (not minute or instant)
Handful of mixed nuts broken into pieces (cashews, almonds, filberts (hazelnuts) pecans), or any other nut you like)
Handful of mixed dried fruits - chopped if required (cranberries, cherries, apricot, mango, apple, pear, raisins dates – whatever you like)

In an airtight container (I use an old Pyrex dish with a lid)
Add all but 2 tablespoons of the Yogurt, oats, nuts and fruit.

    Mix it up well.
**keep adding stuff until everything is well coated, but there’s still extra yogurt. (about 1/4 of the mix should be free yogurt)
Smooth it out the top and spread the remaining 2 Tbsp yogurt on top. You can sprinkle some chocolate chips on top or nuts or what have you to decorate.

Put the lid on and let rest in the fridge overnight.

You’ll have a thick oaty, fruity breakfast treat
(The oats and fruit absorb the fluid from the yogurt so it becomes like a greek yogurt trail mix treat)

Keeps for 3-4 days in the fridge, but really, it won’t last that long.

    filling and healthy au max!
