Thanks Marco. I did take the first pill a few hours ago. So far so good. I was just worried about such a high dose.

That was the protocol I was put on back in 2009 or so. It did bring my vitamin D levels up into a normal range. I don't remember any side effects or anything else that is noteworthy.

Doc prescribed ergocalciferol 50,000 IU daily for one week and then one pill once per week for low Vit D levels. Does anyone have any experience with this? Side effects? Improvements?
