    What combinations of vitamins should be taken together?

    I am starting on a new vitamin regimen. I've heard that some should not be combined at the same time, some should be taken with certain types of food, etc. So far, I have been spacing them out over the day, taking them usually with 3 meals/snacks. For example I take calcium with yogurt or milk.

    I'm taking vitamin c, calcium, multi-vitamins, sublingual b-12, magnesium, potassium, fish oil, flaxseed oil, ginkgo biloba, glucosamine with chondroitin, and probably a few others I can't remember right now! If I'm going to take them, I want them to count!

    In general, herbs and amino acids should be taken on an empty stomach. This translates to 1/2 hour before food, or 2 hours after food. Vitamins and minerals should be taken with food.
