DianeD, I just wanted to tell you something I have found that works wonderfully for the dull hair. I go to Borics for my haircuts. They have a product for sale that is called "It's a 10" miracle leave in product. It is a spray conditioner and man does it work. Just spray it on when hair is wet, rub it around or comb it in. Poof, magic!
I have thick/heavy, coarse hair and menopause, MS, DMD's steroids etc have NOT been kind to it.
When I started it, the week I started using the spray, I got compliments on how much healthier my hair was looking. So give it a try maybe? It was $10 I think, but have been using that spray-bottle for over 6 weeks, so lasts a long time. My .02
