    Made both goals

Thurs - 2556 steps; Silver Sneakers
    Fri - 1541 steps
Sat - 2380 steps; pool at YMCA
Sun - 1749 steps; PT at home
Mon - 3526 steps; recumbent bike at wellness center
Tues - 1532 steps; PT at home
Wed - 2581 steps; Chair yoga and recumbent bike

Total steps = 14,116 steps. Average: 2017 steps per day
    Total exercise = 5 days (6x)

I'm not sure why I didn't make my steps goal; I actually did more other exercising than usual.

    Goals:
    1. Average of 2,000 steps per day.
    2. Exercise at least 4 times out of 7 days. Silver Sneakers, recumbent bike at Wellness Center or YMCA, PT, YouTube chair exercises or something else.
    3. Include some strength training on some of my exercise days (could be PT).

      Partial Goals Made

Nice work Mamabug- Glad to see you are able to move around again.

      I made partial goals.

Fell short of my step goal average by about 441 steps, averaging 7059 steps. I didn't run one day the entire week, bummer.

I did however make it to the gym 5 days and I was able to train Jiu Jitsu 1 day so I did OK.

I also was able to get the new flooring installed in the dining area so the wife is a happy camper.

This may be a great way to keep me motivated when it comes to exercise! When do we post our goals for the next week?

Hi Beans! We check in every Thursday and record if we made our goals from the previous week, like everyone is doing in this thread today. We also set our goals each Thurs. for the next week. Everyone's exercises are individual and according to our ability. Hope you join us!

Yes, Wendy. Feel free to post your goals today, and then report on them next Thursday. I find that, even when I don't make my goals, this motivate me to exercise more frequently than I would without it.

                Perfect and good luck!

I had another good week with babysitting for a very active toddler 2 times, walked while grocery shopping, planted sugar snap peas in the garden and vacuumed much of my house!

But, my goal was to wash floors too and that didn't get done.

Truly a goal for next week as we're having lots of family over for pizza Sat. I imagine the floors will get dirty by all the little ones running around. Will try again for at least 5 days of some sort of exercise for next week.

                    Made Goals

                    Hi everyone

Nice to see that everyone is doing well with staying as active as possible!

Welcome to our exercise group Wendy!

I had a good week, for which I am very grateful.

Two days were better than usual, as far as functioning and endurance.

Although I've done two weeks of my chocolate experiment, I'm not yet ready to give credit to that for my good days, as I do have better than usual days on occasion.

Daily: Up and active (with rollator) 4X a day @ 30 min each + Stretches throughout the day + In-chair ab crunches 2X a day @ 20 each

                    5X a week: Walked with rollator 5X a week @ 30 min each time

Wishing everyone good energy, endurance, and perseverance.

I'm doing my own little experiment with eating 1 oz unsweetened dark chocolate (100% cacao) daily for 6 weeks.

Looking to see if it will help my motor fatigue and endurance.

For those of you who have been missing from our Exercise Check-in for awhile, we'd love to see you back!

Begin anew; set new goals -- whatever is appropriate for you. If you meet your goals, great! If you don't, at least you tried. You can always change them to something that fits your abilities better.
