Interstim and neurogenic flaccid underactive bladder update

    Hi everyone,

Hope all is well. I talked to my urologist about Interstim last week. He is sending me for a follow up urodynamic test to see if my bladder is functioning any better then in 8/17.

I perform intermittent self catherazation 4 x a day with disposable lubricated catheters. I can still urinate on my own. Just don't fully empty out. I am hoping that post residual will be a lot lower then last time.

My urologist did state that insurance doesn't generally cover Interstim for MS and/or neurogenic bladder.

I remember someone on this site had it done. Were you part of a clinical trial?

Would love to hear feedback if any one has knowledge about Interstim and MS?

    Thanks
    Blue Satin
