I have had a supapubic catheter since Dec 2012. Starting in April my bladder spasms began Dr. prescribed me Oxybutnin 50mg. Works great.
One day I felt like I had to pee then starting coming out of the uretha. Thought I took care of that problem. The nurse who comes to my house said it must be sediment clogging up the cath. Because of the large amount of sediment, she recommends the cath be flushed every other day. Still have alot of sediment.
My problem now is bubbles in the catheter and severe pain in my pelvic area. The results of a MRI were bubbles in the bladder which could be cystitis. I don't have any other symptons but bubbles. Anyone experience this?
