For Paloums410 & others dealing with spouses cognitive problems

I haven't been on this board for a very long time because things were going pretty good. My BF has had MS for about 40 years - I have known him for 5 years. Our relationship is purely friends.

When I posted before it was about his "lack of emotions". That still exists but it has gone way beyond. His Cog Fog is getting worse and he doesn't have a clue. I understand he can't recognize he is changing. He says we argue "all the time" but of course that's not true. He makes a mistake and it's my fault. As long as everything is on his terms he's happy. If I disagree, he says I'm arguing with him. I'm realizing that this is a no win situation.

Paloums410 wrote "My dh doesn't think there is a problem as long as I don't disagree with him or point out that he maybe having a cog prob" This is exactly what I'm dealing with and would like to correspond with Paloums410 or someone who understands my issues. He just isn't the man I met years ago.
