    Dazed and confused!!!

    Hay all,

I am new to the group. Have been reading the posts here for about a 2 weeks. Thanx for the Information, its been helpful. sorry if my story is confusing my mind hasn't been thinking as well as it used to....

My story goes like this, Im 43year old trained auto technician, with major back problems(two surgery with fusions).. So i stay home and take care of the kids and house, while my wonderful works as a RN to take care of my sorry butt....

Well, I have been having a few issues that has been happening that has woke me up... I have been having problems with my right arm/hand. i had a hard time moving it and grabbing anything was impossible (it just felt like the brain had a complete short with my arm/hand). The problem with my hand i have notice usually happens when i am a hot environment. and come back when i cool down, most of the time. i kinda chocked it off as a pinched nerve in my neck.

I also have always had problems with the heat, I would get dizzy, tired and weak. So i avoid hot environments all together..

Well my wife said that i should get my hand looked at.. made an appointment with my GP for a few days down the road. I started to search the internet for maybe a reason to what is going on with my hand, before my appointment. I put in my symptoms and it pulled up MS. looked at the symptoms of MS and i had every one. from dribbling bladder(that i have had all my life) to loose of sex drive, bad Cognition, vision problems and tremors.

i went and saw my GP, and told him of all the symptoms I was having...but never mentioned MS. he ordered a x-ray of my neck, that came up clean. I finally asked him to maybe rule out MS. So he ordered an MRI, of my brain (hesitantly). it came back with 5 T2 spots on the left side of my brain as well of possible proof of demyelination in a few other areas of my brain. and he made an appointment with the MS Specialist

I also had a seizure (Last week)(out of no where) my daughter saw it and called 911 and went to the ER. I told the ER Doc about the appointment with the specialist so they sent me home. And he said that the seizure was possibly from having MS. I was thinking OKAY whatever...

I now have an appointment with the MS specialist next week. I know that the specialist will do what they can to rule out MS. I honestly hope i don't have it, but i am not getting my hopes up.

I have been researching on what i can about it. so THANX for all the information, its been helpful.
Working...
