Hello all! Bob here, 53, married for 32 years, 2 great kids awesome lab and a cat. Wife and I love to ride our bikes, spend time with family and work around the house.
New here and have been reading many post over the past couple of days. Just wanted to say that I'm inspired by all of you!
I haven't been dx'd yet, but neru guy has ruled out all the mimics and is telling me that's where he is leaning. I have had symptoms for a few years, but thought it was related to a bad back surgery.
Wasn't until my back doc retired and I got a new one did he pick up on this. All this time I thought how can this happen from a back issue.
Anyway, after a battery of test, multiple MRI, blood work, I was quite dazed when my neru doc spelled it out for me. He has started me on gabapentin (what a huge bottle) and am scheduled for multiple follow-ups and more MRI's later.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and how much better I feel after reading your posts!
