I need help getting into chat. I emailed chat support a couple of weeks ago and have not heard back from them. I also attempted to create a new ID and that too wasn't completed.

Hope you succeed. I have never heard anything from tech support regarding any issue.

One time an issue was resolved possibly because of my contact, 3 (?) other attempts to resolve problems over the years received no acknowledgement and remained unresolved.

Fortunately, like MS, you forget and learn to live with it.
